Client Programme Manager
Target GroupProgramme Manager responsible for leading client change delivery, maintaining alignment with client strategies while working in a hybrid model with regular office visits. Focus on delivery excellence and team leadership.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with clients to drive delivery excellence
- Oversee and lead a team to ensure alignment with client needs
- Be trusted as a delivery partner and nurture relationships with clients
- Translate client needs into structured delivery roadmaps
- Ensure projects are scoped, planned, and delivered to agree milestones
- Apply financial awareness to programme decisions and manage budgets
- Lead, develop, and support Project Managers
- Champion continuous improvement and enhance processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Organised, structured and confident managing time and competing priorities
- Commercially astute and comfortable managing budgets
- A supportive leader who grows others
- Accountable, solutions‑focused and calm under pressure
- Always looking for ways to improve how things are done
- Proven experience delivering change in a client-facing role
- Strong financial services experience
- A PM qualification (APM, Prince2, or equivalent)
- Experience leading PMs and managing portfolios
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches
- Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience delivering in outsourced or BPO environments
- Offshore team collaboration
- Exposure to ISO/CMMI
- Agile qualifications and/or MSP certification
