About the role
- Taproot Foundation: national nonprofit connecting nonprofits with skilled volunteers through pro bono service.
- Advisory Services team designs and delivers pro bono programs, implements service delivery, and builds the pro bono field.
- Support a portfolio of 4–8 external engagements to ensure work is completed on time, in scope, and at high quality.
- Provide project management, deliverable development, research, and data analysis.
- Create, manage, and deliver materials including project workplans, communications, trainings, surveys, and impact evaluation protocols.
- Contribute to practice-building projects (business development, marketing, DEIA, operations, program innovation) and gather/share data on programming.
- Assist in development of field-building resources and thought leadership; support execution of the Pro Bono Summit.
- Inform strategic direction through participation in planning and support team management, onboarding, and recruitment as requested.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in the nonprofit, corporate, consulting, and/or other sectors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Presentation and/or facilitation skills.
- Strong project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, participate in consensus-style decision making, and discern when to take individual initiative as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Moderate travel may be required (~10-15%).
- Candidates must be based anywhere in the continental United States (remote role).
