About the role

  • Define and execute vision, growth plan, and service model for Advisory Services; translate priorities into scalable offerings and pricing strategies
  • Track sector trends and embed insights into team strategy and client offerings; integrate AI and emerging technologies into delivery models
  • Secure and expand high-impact corporate and philanthropic partnerships; cultivate executive-level relationships and drive revenue growth
  • Mentor and coach Advisory Services team on business development and partner cultivation; collaborate with Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Advancement
  • Serve as visible ambassador and subject matter expert in meetings, conferences, and publications; contribute thought leadership advancing pro bono and skills-based volunteering
  • Directly supervise two Managing Consultants and support coaching across an 25-person practice; invest in talent development and foster inclusion and accountability
  • Serve on Organizational Leadership Council; oversee strategic and growth planning, financial forecasting, and cross-functional partnership

Requirements

  • Proven ability to proactively identify, cultivate, close, and expand executive-level corporate partnerships that generate significant revenue—especially with Fortune 500 companies
  • Knowledge of corporate social impact and corporate L&D environments; comfort influencing philanthropies
  • Strong communication skills as a storyteller and thought leader for high-stakes meetings and conferences
  • Deep subject matter expertise in CSR, L&D, social impact strategy, or pro bono service delivery; experience designing and implementing skills-based volunteering preferred
  • Passion for nonprofit capacity-building and direct understanding of nonprofit needs
  • Senior leadership experience with demonstrated success in revenue growth and team development
  • Experience leading teams and managing high-performing talent
  • Builder orientation—comfortable designing new tools, offerings, and approaches
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with experience scaling services or organizations
  • Curiosity and applied experience leveraging emerging tools, including AI
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into strategy and measurement
