About the role
- Collaborate with our talented design teams to learn all aspects of the design process
- Present a final project to design leaders across all of the brands
- Participate in training and learning sessions to gain exposure to leaders
Requirements
- Support the Repair and Workshop Department in all aspects relating to the repair of products
- Proficiency in Repair, Refurbish, Upcrafting, Recycling / Remaking Upcraft Product (predominately leather handbags, Small leather goods and some knowledge of footwear and outerwear)
- Sew; Stitch jointing Edge painting (touch-ups product and edge paint new product)
- Reinforcing, stitch or finish by hand and sewing machine
- Repair, restore and upcraft items made from leather
- Handcrafting skills
- Leather cutting skills
- Hardware removal and or application; Remove hardware, finishes, binding, zippers
- Quality Assessment
- Evaluate and sort products into different categories as defined by Repairs Department guidelines
- Stage batched repairs accurately for the next step in the process
- Support raw materials inventory as needed
