About the role
- Leverage proficiency in Finance to work within Coach, kate spade, or Tapestry corporate teams
- Support profitability benchmarking exercise through detailed quantitative and qualitative research
- Conduct market research and analysis to document industry and economic trends
- Ensure retail sales and payments are recorded accurately in general ledger
- Reconcile cash and credit card receivable accounts
- Investigate cash deposit overages/shortages
- Track and report expenses related to business processes
- Support financial close process through partnerships with accounting team
Requirements
- Interest in Business, Economics, Finance, and/or Accounting
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize, adapt and handle multiple tasks
- Agile, solutions-oriented mindset with openness to trying new, innovative approaches
