About the role
- The Retail Excellence Manager plays a key role in driving business growth by collaborating with the Director and Sales team to strengthen the market presence within the assigned territory.
Lead, coach, and develop field support to enhance brand presentation and deliver exceptional sales performance.
Oversee the creation and execution of strategic action plans, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
Train and support the development of Retail Store teams supporting wholesale accounts.
Implement company strategies by supporting the sales team account objective in respective regions.
Ensure proper store visit scheduling and execution, including co-travel sessions 3–4 days per week to provide hands-on coaching.
Foster strong customer relationships by maintaining an active market presence and conducting regular client visits.
Support process improvements within the sales organization by collaborating cross-functionally.
Develop and execute business plans to drive growth, enhance brand presence, and improve market performance.
Overmanage store environments, instore marketing and capex projects ensuring compliance and elevated store presentations.
Stay informed on competitive market trends, conducting ongoing research to identify opportunities for market share expansion.
Deliver comprehensive, data-backed reports to management with strategic insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years Multi – unit management and people development experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered
Initiative, entrepreneurship, innovativeness, ownership and the ability to work independently
Adept knowledge of industry, including trends and all aspects of fashion
Excellent business acumen, analytical, organization, problem solving, training and presentation skills
Leadership, prioritization and team development skills
Written and verbal skills
Influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent visual merchandising skills
Knowledge of retail math, MS Excel and Word, PowerPoint
Ability to Travel 60%
Vendor Role (i.e. training and development of teams, merchandising, and maintaining visual and operations standards).
Superior retail and selling experience preferred.
Experience working with department stores is strongly preferred
