About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect our AI-powered GTM infrastructure: You'll design and build the systems — workflows, agents, data pipelines, enrichment layers, internal tools — that let Marketing, Sales, and Rev Ops operate at a scale that would otherwise require 2–3x the headcount.
- Own pipeline growth end-to-end: You'll take ownership of the growth funnel and define how we scale demand at our next stage, from top-of-funnel experimentation through pipeline acceleration.
- Boost offline growth: Big opportunities exist from offline engagements in the ecommerce world. Identify, build, and execute those opportunities, particularly with up-market and higher ACV opps from our ICP.
- Set the bar for creative experimentation: You'll lead ongoing testing across channels, messages, and motions, bringing scrappy startup energy and turning winning experiments into scalable, systematized growth engines.
- Use AI Systems to 10x our output: You'll be at the forefront of AI-driven marketing and GTM, deploying internal and external-facing tools that multiply the productivity of the entire GTM org — not just your own workstreams.
- Strengthen the connection between Marketing, Sales, and Rev Ops: You'll ensure marketing efforts translate into high-quality, measurable pipeline by partnering closely with Sales and Rev Ops and by building the connective tissue — attribution, handoffs, signal routing — that makes the org feel like one team.
- Lay the foundation for GTM operational excellence: You'll bring structure, clarity, and consistency to our growth motion, building systems that scale with us and setting playbooks others on the team can run.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior growth leadership: You've driven demand or pipeline growth in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally as a senior IC or player/coach, and are comfortable owning outcomes in a fast-moving, resource-conscious team.
- AI systems builder: You don't just use AI tools — you build with them. You've shipped internal tools, agents, or workflows that materially changed how a team operates, and you have strong opinions on which AI tools belong in a modern GTM stack and why.
- GTM infrastructure fluency: You understand the modern GTM tech stack deeply — Salesforce, HubSpot, enrichment/data providers, attribution, outbound tooling, CDPs — and have built or rearchitected meaningful parts of it before.
- Experimentation mindset: You know how to design tests across multiple demand channels (paid, outbound, partnerships, events, lifecycle, etc.), evaluate outcomes, and iterate quickly, balancing creativity with strategy and discipline.
- Lifecycle marketing experience: You've built or managed lifecycle programs that nurture prospects and customers across stages — using segmentation, personalization, and timely messaging to drive engagement and pipeline impact.
- Strong analytical instincts: You're fluent in funnel metrics, pipeline reporting, and performance analysis, and you use data to guide decisions and prioritize investment.
- Marketing & revenue operations fluency: Deep experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot), with a high bar for clean data, attribution, and process.
- Pipeline-savvy perspective: You understand how marketing influences revenue at a company like Tapcart, from first touch through opportunity creation and into closed-won.
- Operational builder mentality: You enjoy creating structure where it's needed, improving processes, and setting up systems that scale — and you know how to document them so the team can run them without you.
- Cross-functional collaborator: You work naturally with Rev Ops, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align on goals and execution. This role explicitly spans Marketing and the broader GTM team.
- Comfort with ambiguity: You're energized by building in an environment where priorities evolve and initiative is rewarded.
- Clear, confident communicator: You can share results, insights, and recommendations in a way that builds trust and alignment across teams, including at the leadership level.
- BONUS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience working in the Shopify ecosystem
- Technical chops (SQL, light scripting, API familiarity) that let you build without always needing engineering support
- Agency experience as a media planner or strategist.
