About the role
- You’re eager to implement marketing and CRM not only operationally but also to actively develop them further.
- You think in terms of target groups, touchpoints and relationships and want to help shape how our community is addressed, activated and retained long-term.
- In this role you take responsibility for central communication channels and content — from newsletters and email communication to social media and the website.
- You plan, create and manage newsletters and participant communication around events and community formats, with a focus on relevance, timing and quality.
- You are responsible for maintaining and developing our email communication (e.g., Ambassador Circle) — in terms of content, structure and processes.
- You manage our social media channels (LinkedIn & Instagram) and ensure a consistent, authentic community positioning.
- You create content assets (e.g., graphics in Canva) that communicate information visually in a clear, on-brand and high-quality way.
- You maintain and structure website content and our event app so information remains up to date, understandable and easy to find.
- You help build new content formats (e.g., blog, knowledge-sharing formats) and strategically develop existing content.
- You ensure clean maintenance of contacts, content and communication lists in the CRM to enable personalized, scalable communication.
- You test new channels, formats and approaches and derive concrete optimizations to increase reach, relevance and impact.
Requirements
- You already have practical experience in marketing, communications and/or CRM (e.g., through employment, working-student roles, projects or freelance work).
- You work in a structured way and enjoy organizing content, data and processes carefully.
- You have excellent written German (English is a plus).
- You are interested in e-commerce, events and community topics.
- You are confident using digital tools (e.g., Google Docs, Canva, Notion, Klaviyo, Shopify).
- You work independently, reliably and with attention to detail.
- You bring initiative, strong execution skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and enjoy driving projects forward.
Benefits
- Flexible working hours and a working model that fits well with your life.
- Office space in a co-working space in Berlin, plus the option to work from home on certain days.
- Close collaboration within a small team with short decision-making paths and plenty of scope for creativity.
- The opportunity to actively shape community formats and content and to implement your own ideas.
- Deep insight into marketing, CRM and event processes around one of the most relevant e‑commerce events in the DACH region.
- Direct contact with speakers, partners and media.
- Participation in team events and in the event experience itself.
- Fair compensation.
