About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain scalable, reusable demo environments covering endpoint management, security, IT operations, and analytics workflows
Develop modular demo frameworks customized for industries, verticals, and buyer personas
Keep demo environments stable, production-grade, and ready for customer-facing engagements
Build integrations, automations, API connectors, scripted workflows, and custom apps
Operationalize new product releases into demo-ready assets and environments
Apply modern tooling, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve demo realism and efficiency
Partner with Solution Engineering and Sales on strategic deals, demos, and POCs
Build demo assets, narratives, and technical training materials for GTM teams
Translate field feedback into improvements to demo environments, tooling, and workflows
Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical gaps and roadmap input
Collaborate with IT Engineering on security, infrastructure, hosting, and design, and with IT on operational support
Monitor and maintain demo environment reliability and resolve issues quickly
Contribute to standards and best practices for demo builds, POCs, and pilots

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–6+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, software engineering, or a related technical role
Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with Tanium’s platform
Strong technical foundation in APIs, integrations, authentication, data systems, virtualization, networking, and scripting
Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages
Experience building or supporting customer-facing demos, POCs, or pilots
Experience with endpoint management, IT operations, or cybersecurity platforms
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise IT environments
Experience partnering with product or design teams to deliver end-to-end customer experiences
Experience using modern AI tools such as LLMs, scripting agents, or automation frameworks in technical workflows
Background in high-growth SaaS, enterprise security, or IT management companies
Strong communication, collaboration, execution, and attention-to-detail skills
