About the role
- Works collaboratively with other members of the Sales Systems team to ensure the requirements are understood and documented
- Partner with stakeholders to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business/technology strategy and planned initiatives
- Assist in the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements
- Responsible for understanding business requirements, creating/grooming user stories, and partnering with the delivery team to deliver solutions
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off
- Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and execute small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of ‘run the business’ enhancements and fixes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator Certifications preferred
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Business Analyst Certification is a plus
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst/implementation consultant/solutions architect supporting Salesforce platform
- 3+ years of experience with declarative development on the Salesforce platform as an administrator
- Experience designing and supporting small to medium scale, complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystems
- Previous hands-on experience working with Salesforce CPQ and CPQ Advanced Approvals
- Good understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and executing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles
- Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy where adaptability is imperative
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Change Management processes
- Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously; workload will be a blend of small, medium, and large projects as well as ongoing production support
