About the role

Build and maintain best-of-breed cloud products and infrastructure as part of a nimble development team
Design, develop, test, and deploy products and supporting services from the ground up
Iterate with product management and customers for feedback and input
Ensure backend services are high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable
Use and improve infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Write automated tests and participate in modern software engineering development and automation
Respond to and debug production incidents under pressure
Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, real-time endpoint management and security solutions

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
CS Degree preferred
U.S. Candidates: must be a U.S. citizen, national, or resident pursuant to 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) and 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
5+ years industry experience
Experience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs
Knowledge of at least one of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and other infrastructure technology
Experience with React, Javascript, or typescript desired
Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability
Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development
Experienced debugger who can put out fires under pressure when things go wrong in production environments
Has knowledge of a variety of modern software frameworks (server side & browser side) and the versatility to learn new tools
