About the role
- Tanium seeks a Corporate Counsel to support corporate securities and governance along with additional responsibilities
- Hybrid position requiring in-person attendance several days per week in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA
- Responsibilities include corporate governance matters for Tanium and its international subsidiaries; securities financings, equity plan transactions, M&A; SOX readiness frameworks, internal controls, disclosure procedures, and certification processes; cross-functional matters with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Communications and People
- Other matters such as business transactions, litigation, regulatory and corporate compliance needs
- About Tanium: real-time cloud-based endpoint management and security provider with global customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on corporate securities and governance matters and a broad range of corporate transactions required, with at least 2 years at a law firm required
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required
- Willingness to learn new subject areas and flexibility in assisting with the legal team's workload
- Prior in-house corporate law experience a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workflow and adjust to workload fluctuations
