About the role
- Work with Tanium teams to build features for the next release of Tanium’s B2B security platform
- Be assigned to either a frontend or backend team depending on preference and available projects
- Build features that are delivered to Tanium’s customers and receive feedback on those features
- Be assigned a senior engineer mentor and meet regularly with your 1-1 mentor
- Produce a unique deliverable to put on your resume and present your work to the entire team
- Participate in intern events and network with the wider internship cohort
- Experience first–hand engineering on frameworks and new features for Tanium’s product
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
- Available to work full-time from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related degree program
- GPA of 3.5 or above REQUIRED
- Graduating Spring 2027 or Fall 2026
- Experienced in creating and finishing software development projects in backend and/or frontend languages
- Excited and driven to learn new technical skills
- Passionate about technology, software, and figuring out how things work
- A great communicator and can collaborate with a team as well as work independently
- Past internship is helpful, but not required
