About the role

  • Work with Tanium teams to build features for the next release of Tanium’s B2B security platform
  • Be assigned to either a frontend or backend team depending on preference and available projects
  • Build features that are delivered to Tanium’s customers and receive feedback on those features
  • Be assigned a senior engineer mentor and meet regularly with your 1-1 mentor
  • Produce a unique deliverable to put on your resume and present your work to the entire team
  • Participate in intern events and network with the wider internship cohort
  • Experience first–hand engineering on frameworks and new features for Tanium’s product

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
  • Available to work full-time from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related degree program
  • GPA of 3.5 or above REQUIRED
  • Graduating Spring 2027 or Fall 2026
  • Experienced in creating and finishing software development projects in backend and/or frontend languages
  • Excited and driven to learn new technical skills
  • Passionate about technology, software, and figuring out how things work
  • A great communicator and can collaborate with a team as well as work independently
  • Past internship is helpful, but not required
