About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage end-to-end the Planning & Purchasing function, ensuring the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time and at the right cost across all customer touchpoints;
Ensure efficient supply to stores, distribution centers (DCs) and factories, guaranteeing product availability in both physical and digital channels with an integrated omnichannel inventory view;
Implement and oversee demand forecasting and procurement tools that support replenishment for stores, DCs and factories;
Lead the S&OP process, working closely with Commercial, Product and Finance teams to make the supply chain more responsive and aligned with the business growth rhythm;
Lead management of all inventory-related investments, ensuring efficient capital allocation and appropriate return on invested resources;
Conduct effective negotiations with suppliers of finished goods, raw materials and packaging;
Plan and execute national and international demand planning and purchasing activities, including supplier relationship management, running procurement processes and developing new suppliers to support growth and portfolio diversification;
Coordinate planning for Perfumery and Porcelain factories, ensuring a steady production flow to optimize service level and manufacturing costs;
Plan material supply for factories, ensuring availability of inputs aligned with the production plan;
Identify and implement new technologies that contribute to a more integrated supply chain, connecting suppliers, factories, DCs and stores end-to-end;
Optimize supply chain configuration to find the best balance between service level and inventory volume;
Define strategies to use stores as regional distribution hubs to reduce lead times to the end customer.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or related fields;
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or similar is a strong plus;
Relevant Supply Chain certifications will be considered an advantage;
Significant experience in managerial roles within Supply Chain in retail companies;
Solid, proven experience in store replenishment, preferably in an omnichannel environment, with strong knowledge of allocation and replenishment strategies across physical and digital channels;
Proven experience in managing and/or implementing demand forecasting and procurement tools;
Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools, Demand Planning and automated store replenishment;
Experience leading the S&OP process, with direct engagement with Commercial, Product and Finance areas;
Experience managing inventory investments and collaborating with finance teams for cash flow management;
Strong inventory management skills with emphasis on optimization and stock reduction;
Demonstrated negotiation skills with suppliers of products, raw materials and packaging, including development of new suppliers;
Experience in imported-goods supply chains, including foreign trade (Comex) processes and management of international suppliers;
Advanced/Fluent English;
Availability to travel.
