About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage and continuously develop the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding
- Advise and support employees and managers on HR-related and employment law matters
- Manage the full recruiting process from needs analysis and active sourcing to interviews, contract negotiations and onboarding
- Collaborate with managers on personnel decisions and provide guidance on performance, development and employee retention
- Design and further develop performance management processes and support feedback and development conversations
- Create, review and manage HR-related documents in accordance with employment law requirements
- Maintain and improve HR processes, employee master data and HR systems
- Prepare monthly payroll in coordination with an external tax firm
- Ensure compliance with employment law, statutory and internal requirements
- Lead and contribute to strategic people & culture projects in employer branding, employee experience, talent management and organizational development
- Responsible for office operations and the development of workplace and office processes
- Manage external service providers and handle administrative and organizational office matters
- Plan and execute team events, workshops, onboarding activities and internal company events
- Responsible for access and permissions management as well as security and entry processes
- Coordinate and ensure occupational health and safety, including statutory requirements, documentation and training records
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree with a focus on HR, business administration or business psychology, or a comparable commercial qualification with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in HR, ideally in a dynamic tech, SaaS or start-up environment
- Solid knowledge of German labor law
- Extensive experience across the entire employee lifecycle
- Experience independently managing complex recruiting processes
- Trusted collaboration with managers
- Experience in developing HR processes, structures and people initiatives
- Strong advisory skills and confident presence at all levels of the organization
- High initiative, entrepreneurial mindset as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder management skills
- Strong service orientation and a hands-on mentality
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident use of modern HR systems as well as digital collaboration and recruiting tools
