About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with experienced developers to enhance and maintain the foundational custody platform
Provide technical expertise to the product owner and stakeholders during design of new products and features, especially API design
Make independent decisions on architecture, software design and implementations
Develop scalable and secure backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipelines
Ensure high quality standards while continuously delivering customer value
Own testing, rollout and go-live of product increments
Develop and maintain software development standards covering code quality, clean code, automated testing and deployment, diagnostics and monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs using TypeScript and Node.js
Experience with NestJS is an advantage
Ideally, proven experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Functions and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of MSSQL, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB and/or MongoDB
In-depth knowledge of web architectures and API design
Knowledge of OAuth2-based authentication methods
Ideally, experience with software security and automated testing
Experience with low-code platforms such as Retool is a plus
Interest in blockchain technology is essential
Technical blockchain know-how is an advantage
Fluency in English at least B2
German is a plus
