About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Draft and manage employment contracts, references and other HR documents.
  • Maintain and administer employee master data and HR systems.
  • Independently manage the full recruiting process — from needs analysis and creating and publishing job ads to contract negotiation and hiring.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related questions.
  • Prepare, support and follow up on performance reviews and assist managers with performance management.
  • Prepare payroll-related documentation in cooperation with our external tax advisor/firm.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law and internal policies.
  • Contribute to HR projects and the ongoing development of our company culture and employer brand.
  • Organize and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • Manage external service providers.
  • Coordinate orders, mail handling and general administration.
  • Plan and organize team events, workshops and internal company events.
  • Welcome and assist guests and external partners.
  • Oversee access control, including managing access permissions and keys.
  • Ensure and coordinate occupational health and safety measures and maintain the required documentation and training records.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or commercial vocational training with a focus on HR or office management, or comparable qualification.
  • Initial professional experience in HR and ideally in office management.
  • Good knowledge of labor law and administrative HR processes.
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • High service orientation and enjoyment of working with people.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Confident handling of digital HR tools.
