About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carrying out and documenting due diligence as part of KYC and KYB checks for new and existing customers
Preparing and updating risk analyses (partners) and risk classifications (end customers)
Evaluating and documenting AML, sanctions and PEP checks
Preparing suspicious activity/relevant transaction reports related to money laundering/terrorist financing for the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer)
Contacting and communicating with partners and end customers in the context of KYC/KYB and AML reviews
Developing processes, control plans and control measures within the department
Cross-departmental communication and coordination of risk processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Economics, Law, Finance or a comparable qualification
Some experience in KYC, AML or Compliance is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements on money laundering/sanctions in the financial sector (GwG, MiCAR, EU Funds Transfer Regulation, FATF, BaFin AuAs)
Analytical thinking and a high attention to detail
Structured and independent way of working
Excellent German and English skills
