About the role
- Support & Monitor Occupational Health Programs
- Provide care, oversight, and coordination of a wide range of occupational health services.
- Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician.
- Provide accurate, well-documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
- Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance.
- Provide first aid care, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, and coordinate follow-up care per protocol.
- Perform phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
- Work under established protocols to evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
- Bilingual Spanish Required
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic medical data management.
- Physical ability Requires standing and walking for up to five hours per shift; infrequent lifting of up to 15 lbs.
- OSHA 10 will be assigned, and must be completed within 90 days of assignment.
