About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive sales performance across your assigned territory, meeting or exceeding targets.
Build trusted relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and key opinion leaders.
Deliver engaging product training and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
Act as a clinical expert in Type 1 diabetes management and insulin pump therapy.
Identify new business opportunities and expand Tandem’s presence in the diabetes community.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in clinical sales or diabetes care
Strong knowledge of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, insulin pumps, hybrid closed‑loop systems, CGM, carbohydrate counting, and emergency protocols
Ability to influence healthcare professionals and confidently support patients
Independent, structured working style and high willingness to travel (up to 80%)
Proficient with CRM tools and digital platforms
Experience working with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Fluent German and good English skills
Ideally trained as a DDG-certified diabetes counselor, nurse, dietitian, or equivalent qualification
