• Lead and oversee the transformation of Financial Crime operations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and agility.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision for Financial Crime operations, aligned with the Bank's objectives.
• Develop and implement robust financial crime risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and assess financial crime risks associated with secured and unsecured lending and savings accounts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and international regulatory requirements, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving financial crime laws and regulations and adapt the bank's policies accordingly.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of financial crime professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the investigation of suspicious financial activities and transactions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the Financial Crime operations team.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, streamline operations, and improve the effectiveness of financial crime prevention measures.
• Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including second-line risk and compliance teams.

Head of Financial Crime – Operations

Infrastructure Engineer

• Define, design, and maintain enterprise infrastructure architecture across on-premise and cloud environments (Palo Alto SASE, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Drive the modernisation and integration of legacy infrastructure into a unified, secure, and scalable platform.
• Own and maintain the infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of network and systems engineers.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to embed security best practices (NIST, CIS Benchmarks, RBAC, IDAM) into design and operations.
• Partner with third-party vendors to ensure service continuity, value, and architectural integrity.
• Lead on documentation, governance, and standards for infrastructure design and configuration.
• Conduct on-site reviews and audits to ensure quality and compliance across environments.

Lead Infrastructure Architect

Account Manager

• The main purpose of the role is to create and maintain relationships with introducing used car dealers. To attend face to face appointments and telephone/email negotiations offering competitive finance terms to used car dealers. To ensure individual targets are met and adhere to company policies.
• As an Account Manager at Tandem your focus will be on:
• Business Development: Creating quality used car dealer relationships within your geographical area.
• Account Management: Managing existing used car dealers to ensure they meet their sales and efficiency targets.
• Attending face to face dealer onsite meetings and negotiations to offer competitive finance facilities to used car dealers.
• Offering excellent customer service.
• Being an active team player.
• Achieving business targets and personal objectives.
• Attending 121’s and team meetings in any of our office locations (typically held in Cardiff/Blackpool).

Manager

• Work in the Risk Measurement team (2nd line) responsible for impairment models, stress testing and Credit Risk ICAAP Pillar 2A/2B models
• Support and enhance credit risk models including ICAAP P2A stress testing, impairment actuals and forecasting models
• Lead development of impairment models reporting and produce monthly impairment charge and quarterly impairment forecasts
• Build internal impairment-related MI and support ad-hoc deep-dive analyses for stakeholders
• Present impairment MI and insights at impairment working groups, technical model working groups and credit committee
• Implement modelling enhancements and take changes through technical model governance and credit committee
• Work with Data, Product and external partners (bureaux, consultancies) to ensure required data availability
• Support ICAAP stress testing P2A and P2B model enhancements and link BAU forecasts with stress testing
• Develop relationships with Product, Operations, Finance and Compliance; support Internal Audit and Independent Model Validation where appropriate
• Deputise for Risk Measurement Senior Manager on impairment-related items and share best practices across Credit Risk
