About the role
- Support the innovation team in managing a structured, gated innovation process.
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for progression decisions - ensure successful movement from innovation to production for new products.
- Work with the innovation team to evaluate early-stage initiatives.
- Own the product prioritisation and work with the CTO in prioritisation discussions for the development team.
- Help maintain balance between roadmap initiatives, technical debt, and customer-driven improvements.
- Translate strategic direction into clear product requirements and delivery plans - working closely with the engineering team on a day-to-day basis.
- Set and monitor product adoption targets and measures, both for new and existing functionality.
- Work closely with engineering and commercial teams.
- Support sales and revenue teams with clear product messaging, positioning and internal documentation.
- Ensure products are well understood and effectively enabled for go-to-market.
- Conduct regular competitor product research and provide insight to inform roadmap decisions / support the GTM team in challenging competitors.
- Support appropriate use of AI within product features where it adds value.
- Use AI-assisted tools internally where this improves delivery efficiency/quality or otherwise provides cost-effective advantages.
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality, user-centred solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in product management within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong prioritisation and analytical skills.
- Experience working with structured product processes.
- Good understanding of AI applications in product contexts.
- Good understanding of early-stage product processes.
- Line management experience.
- Exposure to integration projects.
- Experience in scale-up environments.
- Product marketing or go-to-market collaboration experience.
