About the role
- Ensure product compliance with UL, CE, FCC, and other applicable regulatory standards Conduct and oversee UL testing, audits, and documentation for certification Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle Evaluate testing results and provide technical recommendations for compliance Submit product documentation to certification bodies and manage the approval process Maintain compliance for existing certified products, ensuring ongoing regulatory adherence Monitor changes in industry regulations and implement required updates Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and testing laboratories Develop and maintain internal processes for regulatory compliance and safety standards Provide training and compliance guidance to internal engineering and product teams
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Minimum of 5 years of experience in product compliance, testing, or regulatory engineering In-depth knowledge of UL standards, particularly UL 2580, and certification processes Experience with domestic and international standards, including CE, FCC, RoHS, and REACH Proficiency in compliance testing methodologies and risk assessment Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical documentation skills Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication abilities
