About the role

  • Lead and manage the plant maintenance department, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for heavy industrial machinery Oversee the maintenance and repair of large rotating equipment, including kilns and raw mills Manage maintenance scheduling, workforce planning, and equipment reliability initiatives Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement and production goals Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of spare parts Train and supervise maintenance staff and promote a culture of safety and accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Minimum of 5 years of plant maintenance experience in electrical and mechanical systems Experience with heavy industrial equipment, including rotating machinery such as kilns and raw mills Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies Proven leadership skills in managing maintenance teams Working knowledge of maintenance management systems and tools Understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements Experience in cement plant operations or similar heavy process industry Professional Engineering (PE) license or certifications in maintenance management Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to equipment reliability
