About the role

  • Lead product engineering efforts from concept through production, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with specifications.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to introduce new products and improve existing product lines.
  • Support production by addressing technical questions, reviewing specifications, and providing guidance on product requirements.
  • Use CAD software to develop models, tooling, and fixtures that enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Analyze testing data, dimensional reports, and inspection results to identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
  • Partner with quality teams to resolve discrepancies, support MRB activities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare engineering documentation including technical reports, change orders, and process updates.
  • Engage with customers to clarify requirements, provide technical support, and ensure product satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing lead time, improving yields, and optimizing overall product lifecycle performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 7 years of product engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX/Unigraphics, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and dimensional analysis.
  • Experience supporting production teams in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
