About the role
- Manage food safety and quality assurance programs in compliance with FDA, ISO, and HACCP requirements
- Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments using precision measurement tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and improve quality processes
- Lead HACCP implementation and maintain accurate documentation
- Train and develop staff on food safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and HACCP principles
- Experience managing quality control programs in food manufacturing or similar industry
- Proficiency with micrometers, coordinate measuring machines, and quality audit processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills
- Preferred: Experience with Calypso software or similar measurement tools
- Preferred: HACCP certification or other quality-related certifications
- Preferred: Background in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
