About the role
- Manage pipeline integrity projects, O&M projects, and small capital projects.
- Provide technical support in all areas of pipeline systems and to be a technical resource to the company in support of projects and compliance with regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering.
- A minimum of 2-6 years experience in engineering.
- Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on qualifications, experience and skill sets of the successful candidate.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
- Knowledge of the natural gas and oil transmission industry, pipeline/facilities design, construction, operation and testing.
- Proficiency in basic engineering skills.
- Proficiency in basic project management skills.
- Familiarity and ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams, including flow charts, cause/effect diagrams, and Piping and Instrument Drawings (P&IDs).
- Familiarity with pipeline and facility design calculations and equations.
- Familiarity and ability to read and interpret basic GIS information and maps.
- Knowledge of ROW, EHS and regulatory clearances for pipeline projects.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to successfully perform work on simultaneous projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
