About the role
- Application systems expert in multiple or highly specialized phases of application systems analysis, design, implementation, and support.
- Formulates, defines, and performs complex analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide information systems (IS) functionality.
- Responsible for Epic application modules and third party applications; designs and, customizes tables and screens; builds databases; and tests, “debugs,” upgrades, and documents information systems’ functionality.
- Utilizes and applies knowledge of process-flow analysis and major business automation functions to evaluate such needs.
- Designs and implements highly complex solutions using a variety of technologies in a supportable and scalable manner.
- Mentors IT/Application Svcs Analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of directly related professional experience
- Communication skills (critical).
- Problem-solving skills (critical)
- Related Epic certification(s) required.
