About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatry
Treat lower to moderate acuity populations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD
Treat patients across the lifespan, including children and adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
Conduct 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-up sessions
Provide care without inpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage responsibilities
Utilize an in-house referral network to therapists
Exercise control over schedule, weekly availability, session length, and patient population
Make clinical decisions without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume
Collaborate within Talkiatry’s clinician-led virtual psychiatry practice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist (MD/DO)
Active, unrestricted medical license
Interest in outpatient, 100% telepsychiatry-based care
Comfort with learning streamlined clinical technology
Strong clinical judgment
Communication skills
Collaborative mindset
Child and adolescent patients must be treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. after accepting a job offer and completing Form I-9
