About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop strategy and integration methodology around design, development and implementation of cloud-based solutions
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications
Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes
Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues
Enable quick development and release of changes and bug-fixes on an as-required basis
Incorporate feedback from developers/users
Develop technical solutions to complex problems
Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in DevOps, IT operations, cloud engineering, or software development
Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their DevOps tools and services
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Advanced scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
At least one cloud certification
