About the role
- Design, develop, evaluate, and modify system-oriented products throughout their life cycle
- Generate system requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and acquisition logistics
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop lower-level implementation requirements
- Support the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to product development
- Design and integrate system interfaces to ensure seamless interoperability of system elements
- Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
- Participate in system conceptual design and document design concepts for implementation
- Conduct design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation
- Develop and execute system-level verification procedures and customer acceptance test plans
- Review test plans and procedures to ensure alignment with contractual objectives and participate in system testing activities
- Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 years of experience, or a Master's with 3 - 5 years of experience
- Experience applying technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex system engineering challenges
- Ability to generate system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation strategies
- Strong analytical skills to assess technical performance measures and ensure system compliance
- Experience in system conceptual design, performance assessments, and verification methods
