About the role
- You will work on exciting projects in the field of payroll processing.
- You will cooperate closely with different departments to develop innovative solutions and improve processes, with the opportunity to work for top mid-market companies or the next unicorn.
- You will advise our clients on all issues related to payroll and act as a knowledgeable point of contact.
- You will explain complex matters clearly and help develop tailored solutions.
- You will actively contribute to the implementation of new HR software solutions to continuously increase the efficiency of our payroll processes.
- You will analyze and optimize existing workflows to save time and resources.
- You will independently carry out payroll for a defined group of employees.
- You will ensure correct and timely payroll processing in compliance with all applicable tax, social security and labor law regulations.
- You will be the first point of contact for employees with questions regarding payroll, income tax and social security.
- You will handle payroll inquiries and coordinate them with internal departments such as HR and financial accounting.
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold an equivalent qualification.
- You have professional experience in independently processing payroll.
- You have in-depth knowledge of German income tax and social security law.
- You have experience with payroll systems, ideally SAP.
- You work independently, accurately and reliably.
- You are characterized by teamwork, flexibility and perseverance.
- You have good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Ideally, you also speak English.
