About the role

  • You will work on exciting projects in the field of payroll.
  • You will cooperate closely with various departments to develop innovative solutions and improve processes, with the opportunity to work for top small and medium-sized enterprises or the next unicorn.
  • You will advise our clients on all matters related to payroll and act as a knowledgeable point of contact.
  • You will explain complex topics clearly and help develop tailored solutions.
  • You will actively contribute to the implementation of new HR software solutions to continuously increase the efficiency of our payroll processes.
  • You will analyze and optimize existing workflows to save time and resources.
  • You will take full responsibility for independently processing payroll for a defined group of employees.
  • You will ensure correct and timely payroll processing in compliance with all applicable tax, social security and employment law regulations.
  • You will be the first point of contact for employees on questions about payroll, wage tax and social security.
  • You will handle the resolution of payroll queries and coordinate them with internal departments such as HR and finance/accounting.

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • You have professional experience in independently processing payroll.
  • You have solid knowledge of German wage tax law and social security law.
  • You have experience with payroll systems, ideally SAP.
  • You work independently, accurately and reliably.
  • You demonstrate teamwork, flexibility and resilience.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally to client sites.
  • You have good written and spoken German.
  • Ideally, you also speak English.
