About the role
- You will contribute to exciting projects in the area of payroll processing.
- You will work closely with various departments to develop innovative solutions and improve processes, with the opportunity to support leading mid-market companies or the next unicorn.
- You will advise our clients on all matters related to payroll and serve as a competent point of contact.
- You will explain complex issues in a clear and understandable way and help develop tailored solutions.
- You will actively participate in the implementation of new HR software solutions to continuously increase the efficiency of our payroll processes.
- You will analyze and optimize existing workflows to save time and resources.
- You will take responsibility for independently performing payroll for a defined group of employees.
- You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all applicable tax, social security and employment law regulations.
- You will be the first point of contact for employees with questions about payroll, income tax and social security.
- You will clarify payroll issues and coordinate them with internal departments such as HR and finance.
Requirements
- A completed commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in independently performing payroll processing.
- Solid knowledge of German payroll tax and social security law.
- Experience with payroll systems, ideally SAP.
- Independent, precise and reliable working style.
- Strong teamwork skills, flexibility and perseverance.
- Good written and spoken German.
- Ideally, you also speak English.
