About the role
- Collaborating with our web development, data engineering, and business teams to design and deploy reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure
- Ensuring high availability and uptime of our applications by implementing monitoring and alerting systems
- Automating tasks and workflows using scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and other tools to streamline development and deployment processes
- Maintaining optimal use of AWS infrastructure and databases to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness
- Staying up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve our processes and infrastructure
- Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and other activities to help maintain best practices across our engineering teams
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, helping to grow their skills and improve our overall engineering capabilities
- Having knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, load balancing, and security groups
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-based environment
- Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and scripting in Bash and Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelinesusingGithubActionsorsimilar
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and columnar databases like Snowflake
- Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and experience with JS libraries such as NodeJS and ReactJS is a plus
- Understanding of access management and RBAC roles setup in Cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of data protection, security best practices, and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001 and EU GDPR
