About the role

Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for scalability, reliability, and security
Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools
Oversee container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
Ensure robust disaster recovery and high availability strategies
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
Integrate automated testing and security checks into delivery workflows
Implement logging, alerting, and observability tools to monitor infrastructure and application performance
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, outages, or system health issues
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures
Ensure infrastructure and delivery processes meet security, compliance, and governance standards
Apply security patches and updates to infrastructure and platform components
Partner with software engineers to ensure development aligns with operational best practices
Lead technical decision-making for infrastructure and platform initiatives
Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams

At least 6 years of experience in senior Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Strong expertise with AWS cloud platform
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
Strong understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
Solid grasp of networking, system administration, and cloud security practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience leading projects and influencing engineering decisions
Nice to have: Background in SRE practices
Nice to have: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Nice to have: Programming skills in TypeScript, Python or Go
