About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for scalability, reliability, and security
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools
  • Oversee container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Ensure robust disaster recovery and high availability strategies
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
  • Integrate automated testing and security checks into delivery workflows
  • Implement logging, alerting, and observability tools to monitor infrastructure and application performance
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, outages, or system health issues
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures
  • Ensure infrastructure and delivery processes meet security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Apply security patches and updates to infrastructure and platform components
  • Partner with software engineers to ensure development aligns with operational best practices
  • Lead technical decision-making for infrastructure and platform initiatives
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in senior Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Strong expertise with AWS cloud platform
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
  • Strong understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
  • Solid grasp of networking, system administration, and cloud security practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience leading projects and influencing engineering decisions
  • Nice to have: Background in SRE practices
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • Nice to have: Programming skills in TypeScript, Python or Go
