About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage assigned leads within the defined SLA.
- Qualify opportunities based on fit, need, urgency, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Prioritize leads with real buying intent and disqualify opportunities without clear commercial fit.
- Run discovery calls and commercial demos with founders, People leaders, HR, L&D, Finance, Operations, and business owners.
- Send clear proposals with product scope, pricing, licenses, validity, and next steps.
- Handle objections, negotiate, and move deals to close.
- Complete contract, compliance, or purchase order processes when needed.
- Manage renewals for the assigned portfolio.
- Contact customers before contract expiration and identify upsell or expansion opportunities.
- Detect churn risks and coordinate action with the Success team.
- Maintain active relationships with decision makers and key contacts.
- Keep HubSpot updated with deal stage, amount, close date, next step, notes, and loss reasons.
- Maintain a realistic pipeline without inflating weak opportunities.
- Differentiate commit, best case, open pipeline, and at-risk deals.
- Raise blockers related to legal, pricing, product, compliance, or Success.
- Hand off customers to Success with clear context, expectations, and commercial history.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, managing opportunities independently from qualification to close.
- Experience working with short or medium sales cycles and maintaining forecast discipline through pipeline, conversion, and revenue metrics.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to qualify or disqualify opportunities quickly.
- Comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously without sacrificing quality or follow-through.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills across calls, email, and messaging channels.
- Experience using CRM tools with discipline; HubSpot is a strong plus.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain clear next steps, ownership, and deal documentation.
- Resilience, speed of execution, and strong orientation toward revenue results.
- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher,
- **Nice to haves**
- Experience in SaaS, edtech, HR tech, or corporate training.
- Familiarity with HubSpot reporting, sales dashboards, or structured pipeline reviews.
