About the role

  • Join a team managing the cloud infrastructure of a platform with dozens of microservices, multiple environments, and continuous deployments.
  • Collaborate and dig into how systems work under the hood.
  • Find solutions before escalating issues and document learnings.
  • Work in a high-scale environment and navigate uncertainty.

Requirements

  • Collaborate on maintaining Kubernetes clusters and their deployments.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Participate in cloud infrastructure administration using Terraform.
  • Contribute to database, caching, and messaging service management.
  • Assist with monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution.
  • Document procedures and learnings.
  • **Foundational Knowledge (must-have):**
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or Systems Administration roles.
  • Containers: Building and running images.
  • Orchestration: Kubernetes (core concepts — pods, services, deployments).
  • Cloud: AWS, GCP, Cloudflare.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
  • Scripting: Bash for automation.
  • Git: GitHub configuration and administration.
  • **Nice-to-have:**
  • Helm for Kubernetes package management.
  • DNS and CDN management at the infrastructure level.
  • Observability (metrics, logs, APM).
  • Secrets and sensitive configuration management.
  • Canary deployments and progressive rollout strategies.
