About the role
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities with enterprise and development sector clients.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
- Cultivate and manage senior-level relationships with key decision-makers across sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, learning design) to align solutions with client needs.
- Represent AMI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to raise brand visibility.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic input to the Nigeria Country Lead.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the professional services, education, or consulting sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong command of the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, ZohoCRM, Salesforce) and sales performance tracking.
- Established relationships with senior decision-makers in growth and large enterprise organizations in Nigeria.
- Detail-oriented and highly resilient
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
