Sales Lead

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and own Paystack Kenya’s sales motion across our priority segments
- Define how we win in Kenya by translating company strategy into clear priorities and targets
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline and forecast
- Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at key businesses
- Work closely with leadership on important opportunities, bringing local context and network
- Build the sales frameworks and materials that make our commercial motion repeatable
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, and Support to shape solutions
- Develop partnerships that embed Paystack into key ecosystems
- Represent Paystack externally with the presence and credibility the brand deserves
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management
- Comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals end-to-end
- Genuine roots in the Kenyan market, with a network that opens doors and a clear understanding of how enterprise decisions are actually made
- Can communicate Paystack’s value simply and persuasively, both internally and externally
- Credible in technical and commercial conversations—understands APIs, integrations, and the realities of selling and implementing payment products
- Bring structure to the sales process while intuitively knowing how to move deals forward
- Experience operating in high-growth or early-stage environments, and is energized by building
