About the role
- Generate daily post ideas (race tips, training snippets, course previews, beginner guides, human stories) and ideate content.
- Write short-form copy, perform basic motion/caption edits, and crop/resize for platform specifics.
- Publish to an agreed calendar; maintain cadence and quality, including weekends around events.
- Own comments, replies, DMs, and moderation across mass participation channels; develop a T100 tone of voice.
- Escalate issues, FAQs, and sentiment trends to the wider team and provide timely public updates.
- Seed and manage UGC: prompts, reposts, crediting, permissions, and simple creator outreach.
- Mirror priority storylines from pro T100 channels and translate them for amateurs; package crossover moments linking amateurs to pros, partners, and cities.
- Focus on driving meaningful engagements (comments, saves, shares) and report on key engagement and growth statistics regularly.
Requirements
- Ideally 1-2 years in social/community or a strong personal track record running active communities.
- Confident short-form writer with a clean, human tone.
- Comfortable on camera for simple pieces to camera when needed (nice to have).
- Platform natives with high fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts; basic editing on mobile and desktop tools.
- Comfortable working to calendars and live event rhythms; calm under time pressure.
- Curious about mass participation sport and the beginner journey into triathlon.
- Passionate about content and building.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive; knows when to escalate and when to solve.
- Data-aware: able to read simple dashboards and act on them.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and enthusiasm for being part of a creative team.
