About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain and further develop server and client environments across Windows, Linux and macOS
Manage network components, firewalls, VPNs and other security-relevant systems
Operate and monitor virtualization and storage infrastructures
Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies
Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support, including fault analysis and troubleshooting
Contribute to IT security measures, patch management and compliance topics
Support infrastructure and digitalization projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1 year of experience in system or network administration
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization technologies
German language skills at least C1 level; English at B2
Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
Team player with strong communication skills
Advantageous: experience with storage systems, switches and firewalls
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure or container-based environments
IT vocational training, e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or equivalent qualification
