About the role
- Independently manage stakeholder expectations for top-of-funnel initiatives across Engineering
- Own the candidate experience from first engagement through to the interview stage, delivering exceptional service and fast turnaround
- Source technical talent through creative outreach, events, and passive campaigns
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the business by coaching hiring managers & interviewers on best practices, and making sure we’re delivering a consistently exceptional candidate experience
- Partner with executives and hiring managers to deeply understand current and future hiring needs
- Design and execute strategic sourcing plans to map talent and drive top-of-funnel activity
- Strategize different ways to enhance our employer brand by building diverse talent pipelines, attending events, generating referrals, and managing community outreach activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of recruiting experience in a high-growth, high-tech startup environment
- Proven success hiring in niche and competitive technical talent markets
- Ability to manage a full-cycle recruiting process in an efficient and effective manner
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with progressive sourcing techniques including direct sourcing and recruiting techniques such as search engines, Boolean search strings, LinkedIn, and other online networking communities
