About the role
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users, identify system issues, and ensure the smooth response to HCM requests.
- Triage all support tickets to determine which should be handled by HCM support, which require systems changes, and which should be routed to another team for management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and document requirements for system enhancements and changes.
- Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure the quality of system updates and new features.
- Complete data uploads to support mass changes required in the system.
- Build Workday reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to provide insights into HR data.
- Create data audits to find data anomalies.
- Maintain system documentation, create user guides, and provide training to end-users.
- Ensure system security and compliance with data protection standards and other regulations.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to optimize Workday HCM.
- Measure timeliness and effectiveness of support ticket resolution and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support Workday-related projects, including implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Workday HCM configuration, reporting, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionalities, including Core HCM, Time & Absence, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management.
- Strong understanding of business processes, calculated fields, and condition rules.
- Certification in Workday preferred.
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ask the right questions to truly understand the problem and provide a solution that solves it.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prior experience Workday HR Technology in a large global organization.
- Experience with developing and executing test plans and cases.
- Knowledge of Workday reporting tools and data analysis techniques.
- Previous experience writing Workday HCM reports required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and critical business operations with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and other data related regulations.
