About the role

  • Take2 AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with deep Voice AI expertise and strong backend engineering skills. You’ll design, build, and scale our real-time voice agent pipeline (VAD + STT → LLM → TTS), optimize for low latency and high reliability, and help us push the boundaries of AI-driven conversations. This role is hands-on, highly technical, and perfect for someone who thrives in startup environments where they can take full ownership from architecture to deployment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years software engineering experience (backend or full stack)\nBachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering\nDirect, hands-on experience integrating and optimizing STT, TTS, VAD, and LLMs for real-time voice agents\nProven ability to select, evaluate, and optimize model combinations for quality, speed, and reliability\nScaled and optimized voice pipelines for low latency, high availability, and real-time performance\nDesigned and implemented agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and related tooling\nShipped production AI applications with real-time inference, integrating ML models into live systems\nDemonstrated ability to build for scalability, reliability, and maintainability under real-time constraints\nBuilt and operated distributed backend systems with monitoring and observability in place\nStrong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
