About the role
- You are responsible for the close development and expansion of key and target customers — including internationally — primarily in the areas of tobacco, OND (other nicotine-delivery), e-liquids and shisha, and you actively seek new business opportunities and potential customers in the DACH region.
- You develop Customer Development Plans (CDPs) and implement them together with the Sales Director and the General Manager.
- You prepare the sales budget and the sales forecast.
- You support the development of a successful local sales strategy as well as customer-specific sales strategies.
- You analyze information to identify and forecast market trends and developments and advise on customer activities, customer brands and market trends.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or food-technology training or a comparable degree
- Experience in consultative sales and in building and expanding customer relationships
- Basic technical knowledge of flavors and their applications/use areas
- Fluent German and English skills
- Proficient use of common MS Office applications and strong presentation skills
- Confident, friendly manner and a pronounced customer orientation
- Self-initiative and creativity in developing new strategies for the sales territory
