About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a wide variety of projects, from large-scale cabling, construction, and roll-outs to smaller engagements and repair requests
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, reports, and frameworks to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Provide guidance and project process frameworks to Jr. Project Managers, ensuring best practices and efficiency
  • Communicate project updates, scope changes, and issues to clients clearly, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Keep internal and external teams informed of project activities
  • Identify, coordinate, and manage the resources necessary to complete each project
  • Place and manage orders with suppliers, equipment rental companies, and warehouse for equipment and materials as part of assigned projects
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatches, materials orders, equipment rentals, warehouse orders, and other project-related activities within the TailWind customer management system
  • Assist with the check-in/check-out process for TailWind's onsite technicians and provide guidance regarding scope of work and other job questions
  • Ensure project documents are complete, processed, and stored appropriately, and manage deliverables via document management systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate submittals to finance for customer invoicing
  • Efficiently move between unrelated tasks, prioritize when necessary, and manage time effectively
  • Some travel may be involved based on client needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of infrastructure project management experience, especially with large clients
  • Understanding of the Telecommunications Industry
  • Hands-on field technician experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including late-night cutovers if necessary
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of PC tools
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • High energy and the ability to work at a fast pace
