About the role

  • Management of our research and funding projects and identification of funding potentials
  • Proactive identification of state-specific regulations and suitable funding programs from the EU, federal government and states, and assessment of their relevance
  • Management of the entire application process, formulation of clear and compelling project descriptions for funding programs, and preparation of the required cost calculations
  • Function as an interface between management, project leads, clients and other external parties
  • Ensure guideline-compliant use of funds, complete documentation and clean processes during project implementation
  • Actively maintain contact with authorities and funding agencies and confidently represent our interests externally
  • Regular analysis of success parameters, e.g., funding decisions and qualification checks

Requirements

  • Practical experience in funding management, including relevant audits
  • Proven experience in grant administration and/or acquisition, specifically knowledge of AZAV, BAFA, INQA or ZIM and any applicable research allowances
  • Independent, structured way of working and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Very strong analytical skills and the ability to concisely summarize complex matters
  • Business-fluent proficiency in German and English (C1/C2)
  • Strong AI skills in working with common AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT, building agents, and a genuine curiosity for new technologies
