About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Social media management
- Plan, create and schedule content on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube
- Write captions, source visuals and collaborate on short-form video concepts
- Monitor channels, engage with the community in Taiga’s voice and respond to incoming inquiries
- Monitor relevant subreddits (snowmobiling, powersports, EVs, boating, outdoor) and participate authentically in conversations
- Identify trends and community sentiment to inform messaging
- Track performance metrics and identify what works (and what works less well)
- Support planning and logistics for trade shows, demo days, product launches and community events/outings
- Coordinate equipment, promotional items and on-site needs with internal teams and vendors
- Represent Taiga in the field and build relationships with attendees, dealers and partners
- Capture content at events for marketing use
- Participate in post-event follow-ups and debriefs
- Contribute to recruiting, onboarding and managing brand ambassadors in snowmobiling and boating communities
- Maintain communications with ambassadors, content calendars and deliverables tracking
- Coordinate product shipments and ensure ambassadors have everything they need to create content
- Track ambassador performance and help measure program ROI
- Research and identify potential partners (brands, media, non-profits, creators, organizations) aligned with Taiga’s audiences
- Create and send email campaigns in Mailchimp (promotional, newsletters, dealer communications, events)
- Write content, select visuals and perform QA of sends across devices and email clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
- Active and authentic presence on social media; you understand the platforms because you use them
- Excellent writing skills with sensitivity to brand tone and voice
- Comfortable with Reddit and online communities
- Organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable at in-person events and motivated to build relationships
- Interest in electric vehicles, powersports or the outdoors (strong asset)
- Experience with Mailchimp (or similar platforms) is an asset
- Experience with tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Later or equivalents is a plus
