About the role
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage veterinarians (DVMs) and key hospital support staff
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, events, and industry channels to reach passive candidates
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
- Proactively engage talent to support current and future hiring needs
- Conduct initial outreach and assess candidate interest and alignment
- Present qualified candidates and leads to the recruiting team
- Utilize CRM/ATS platforms to track candidate activity, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity
- Leverage sourcing tools, including Phenom, to identify, engage, and nurture high-quality veterinary talent pipelines
- Analyze sourcing effectiveness and optimize outreach strategies
- Stay informed on veterinary industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitive landscape
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring stakeholders to support the full recruitment lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sourcing experience (veterinary or healthcare recruiting strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies
- Strong proficiency with CRM and/or ATS systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and levels
- High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- A genuine passion for the veterinary industry and building high-performing teams.
